Lucas Tannous
M.A., SLP-CCC, TSSLD
A resident of Bronx, NY, Lucas Tannous has nine years combined experience as a speech-language pathologist and accent reduction specialist. He holds a Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from Lehman College, CUNY, is ASHA certified and has a certification in TESOL from the World Learning SIT Graduate Institute. He has taught as an ELL teacher in the Professional Department of the Rennert School for English in New York City, as well as at the Lehman College, CUNY Department of Continuing Education.
In addition, Lucas has performed lead tenor roles in the classic opera repertoire with theaters in several U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., Portland, OR, and Houston, TX.
Lucas combines his background and training as a speech-language pathologist, ELL teacher and operatic tenor to improve your accent when speaking Standard American English and to optimize your voice production when delivering presentations. Utilizing an individually tailored method, Lucas works with you to give you the tools necessary to achieve your personal goals.
